Common Questions
Everything you need to know about our guided park walks through St Stephen's Green and Iveagh Gardens
Most of our walks run between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on which route you choose and how much time you'd like to spend exploring particular spots. We keep a leisurely pace with plenty of opportunities to stop, chat, and take in the surroundings—this isn't a race.
Both St Stephen's Green and Iveagh Gardens are largely flat and well-maintained, making them accessible for most people. We've mapped out rest points along every route, and you can let us know about any specific mobility needs when you book so we can tailor the experience to suit you.
Spring (April-May) brings stunning blooms and fresh greenery, while autumn (September-October) offers gorgeous colours and milder temperatures. Summer can get busy, but early morning walks are brilliant. Winter walks are quieter and perfect if you prefer fewer crowds—just wrap up warm.
Yes, we ask for advance booking so we can confirm group sizes and arrange your guide. It also means you won't miss out if a particular walk is fully booked. Most walks can be arranged with just a few days' notice.
Absolutely! Both parks are photographers' dreams. We actually pause at key spots specifically so you can capture photos—our guides know all the best angles and viewpoints.
Light rain won't stop us—it's Ireland after all! We only cancel or reschedule if there's severe weather like heavy storms or strong winds. We'll let you know at least 24 hours in advance if that happens, and you can rebook for another date with no charge.
